750g beef brisket 牛腩, 400g radish 蘿白, 2 tbsp Chu Hou Sauce 柱侯醬,
1 tbsp peanut butter 花生醬, 1 dried tangerine peel 陳皮, 1 cinnamon 桂皮,
1 block - red fermented tofu 南乳, 2 tbsp fermented tofu brine 南乳汁
suitable amount - light soy sauce 生抽, ginger, and garlic 姜蒜,
rock sugar 冰糖, dried chilies 乾辣椒, bay leaves 香葉, star anise 八角
[ cooking tips 🌱 ]
1. To yield tender beef brisket, braise initially for 1.5 hours before adding radish ( or potatoes ).
2. This is a mild spicy recipe.
